A poem of imagination

Play a game with me if you will
Try for a moment to be comfortably still
Close your eyes
Picture yourself in a disguise
Maybe a Pilot
Maybe a Prince
Maybe a Horse
Jumping over a fence
You can be anyone
You’re as free as a bird
Maybe someone you’ve heard of
Just let yourself go and observe
Now that you’re here
What do you see
Are you as happy as you were
Before you traveled with me
Do you imagine your richer
With money to burn
Or maybe you’re still someone
Without reason to earn
This journey will always be a moment away
Try it and see what will change from yesterday
Give it a chance to light up your life
Just think if you see yourself as a husband or wife
So many visions will pop onto your screen
Just promise yourself you will never be mean
See what the world has within your own mind
See for the first time and you will see you were blind
There are no guarantees to the secret to life
No promise you will relieve all your strife
The best you’ll derive is you ventured inside
Where your secret to life constantly hides.
