Just We Two

A Poem of Love

What hides between the clouds and sky
Reflecting blue as in your eyes
The air so thick I reach to feel
Is this moment truly real
What lights my dusty window bright
Is it just the ray from the sun’s warm light
Is it just the absence of the dark at night
Or the constant flutter of my heart in flight
The moon starts low as the stars appear
One by one I’m filled with tears
I cannot know what lies in store
Until the sun breaks through once more
I pray as the full moon appears
You’re by my side close and near
To hug and kiss throughout our days
As just we two in our own loving ways.
