A reality in life
I always believed in a day’s pay for a day’s work
That it’s OK to sweat at work!!!!
There is nothing wrong with having to “Roll Up Your Sleeves!”
So many of us have come to believe that a day’s pay is owed to us.
That it isn’t necessary to really earn the pay we get.
That could be why we hear so much about so many individuals that just want to get paid for just being there. Come on folks! A day’s pay for a day’s work won’t kill us.
Ask the older generation that suffered through the depression and times that were so bad without any help from Uncle Sam.
If we all had the attitude that work is OK many of the younger generation would catch on and be more responsible for their own destiny.
I know that these comments do not reflect everyone. That there are many, if not most, of the present-day youngsters who are beginning their careers with a good attitude, and have been brought up to respect the proverbial dollar. Let’s hope that their way of life pours over to the kids that have yet to discover their walks in life.
