Yet can’t or won’t find the words
Too embarrassed or just feeling funny
About saying “I need you, I want you!”
Songwriters have no choice
They must use their songs
to reach out and express their love
John Lennon wrote Now and Then many years ago

Using John Lennon’s cassette tape he recorded
Just before his assassination on December 8, 1980
and George Hamilton’s voice as well
Who passed away in 2001 of cancer at age 58
From the first time they tried to create the piece
Now and Then in the late 1990’s
Till its released just today
Ringo and Paul along with some great mastering
Recreated this beautiful piece of music
