A Poem of Love and Art
Your paintings on the wall for those to see
Nestled in a group or just that one you did for me
Reflect on that special moment that we shared
Who else can ever know the thoughts we dared
The greens and yellows each a blend we knew
Were of the clothes you wore and those high heel shoes
Then you set us both upon a pedestal so high
Reflecting back a clouded streak in front the bluest sky
Such beauty I could not resist the glow within your eyes
As there I stood you caught me with a loving sigh
We are so lucky to be cast upon this canvas so
Two friends at play for that is what we want them all to know.
