A morning sonnet

Photo by Ash Edmonds on Unsplash

The golden skies the soft damp dew
As dawn’s early light begins to slowly creep
A gentle breeze whispers secrets new
As nature stirs from slumber’s peaceful sleep

The world awakens bathed in sunlit grace
A symphony of colors sights abound
The promise of a new day a fresh embrace
As hope and joy are lit from sky to ground

The sun ascends a fiery beam of light
Dispelling darkness casting shadows deep
A new day dawns fills your endless sight
As nature’s beauty begins its daily reap

So let us greet the day with hearts aflame
Seize the moment once more take aim.
