Member-only story
A poem about a newborn
There was a day not long ago
It was a time that all would know
The weather warm a sunny day
The world alive in every way
A Stork was cruising far and wide
For the perfect home where did it hide
He picks his homes so carefully
It must be a loving family
The Stork this day was carrying
A cute bundle of a boy so fair was he
Now where should he deliver him
Who on this day a child would win
One home stood out about the trees
A place where he could feel the breeze
That swept across a grass filled lawn
Where on this day a new life was to be born
The Stork did see so many smiles
As he delivered this lovely child
To Sarah and her husband Sam
A home to love this little man
The joy of a new baby boy
Brought out good friends with lots of toys
They quickly sent a photograph
This little tot with the cutest laugh
And so the Stork had done his do
As well I am this story through
Until this little joy gives his first clue
Then I’ll be back to report to you.
