A man of mystery a man of style
A man of action a man of guile
Who is your favorite tell me true
Of all the James Bonds the chosen few…

Sean Connery the first of the best
With a charming smile and a witty jest
He set the standard with a golden gun he ruled
The suave secret agent so dangerously cool

Then came George Lazenby a one-time fling
A brief encounter a forgotten king
He wore the tux he drove the car
But his time was short like a falling star

Roger Moore reimagined the logo eye
With a playful wink he was a graceful spy
He brought the humor that light-hearted fun
A dangerous gentleman second to none

Timothy Dalton took a serious turn
With a darker edge and lesson to learn
He was the Bond at the Cold War’s end
That same Bond-type hero and a royal friend

Pierce Brosnan a mix of them all
He answered the world’s urgent call
He had the charm the wit and the grace
A modern Bond perfectly placed
Not to change your decision
Brosnan was my Bond on a mission

At last Daniel Craig with eyes of steel
A look raw and gritty the Bond surreal
He bled he ached he fought the good fight
He brought the cruel darkness back into the light

So who’s your favorite which one’s the best
A question that puts every 007 fan to the test
But one more question, before we part
Could a woman play the hero’s part
With a shaken martini and a license to kill
Could the other gender of agent give us those thrills
The name is James Bond a fifty-year brand
Can a female 007 take the place of our man?
